The thing I hate most about Kasabian is Serge's vocals are on pretty much every second of every song. Always screaming along or singing. Both are not easy on the ears. Sure Tom has done too much packet or something but sure Serge is chuffed with this and singing/screaming over their entire next album. Plus Tom is going bald and looking like a bag of shit at the moment. Sure there is a knife hanging out out of his back.  i can never predict where your posts are gonna go but always pleased where they end up |

that's from yesterday, it seems like they tried to bury the court appearance (nothing from a magistrates court is recorded apart from charge and verdict unless someone else bothers to turn up and take notes) hence no mention of it in yesterdays statements, someone spotted it on court listings this morning

How about supporting him and helping him through whatever issues he may have? His Mrs never even gave a statement or pressed charges and wants to stay together. The Kasabian response and press release is as confused as the bands place in the modern world of music. No one is making money out of live music until next summer so why they have bothered to say this now, and sink the band, is bizarre. Tom shouldn't be in the band and the band shouldn't exist so all gravy. Kings of Leon and The Killers can headline even more festivals now. FUCK YEAH.

Think their just trying to come across as all "woke". him being sacked from the band was used as sob story in court to try and get his sentance down. they had almost managed to keep the court appearance quiet, if no one had noticed it was happening yesterday the verdict would have been reported in a few days when someone spotted it but none of the gory details of the case would have surfaced. the tin foil hat in me says he'd have rejoined the band in time for next years gigs if the case had evaded detailed reporting. I reckon they were trying to pull a fast one. |
