Every song he's ever performed sounds like it was written for a musical about a man that works in a garage.

You'd think he'd mix it up a bit wouldn't you? I think its because he's secretly a fag who fancies men covered in oil.

I guess we'll never see the next chapters in this thread. Mahoney, have you listened to the River yet? You need to get to Nebraska and share your thoughts after you've had some listens.

Not yet, my next stop is The Ties That Bind. Is that a good record?
I'll get around to them all eventually. Been listening to mostly new stuff lately & music made by black men but I'll return to my Boss quest very soon.

The ties that bind isn't a record. At least not a real one. It was *supposed to be* the one that followed 'darkness on the edge of town', but he scrapped it and did the river instead. Bad decision.

ah right. I'll still give it a go.
Up to 'Around the World in a Day' on my Prince Journey also. From what I've read it sounds like it's gonna be one I dig.

Definitely prefer The Ties That Bind rather than 'The River'. The Americana sounding rock 'n roll tracks are just too cheesey and makes the album feel very bloated. All the highlights were on the Ties That Bind which seems a much better record.

Going to see The Boss on Thursday. Apparently he's doing a 3 and a half hour set. Going to be epic.

Thats cos all your gigs cost 6.50 bruv. Once you pay 60 quid to see someone perform you want them to play every song known to man until you're bored and had enough.
Krburg fell asleep watching Neil Young, 4 hour sets forever.
