Haven't even heard most of them yet. 55 cunto is a lot but they manage to whack another 30 for shipping on it as well.

I've recently decided to start collecting again and that I can budget two LPs a month, or more precisely, £30. Also, my hard drive died recently and I lost all my music, so it's a perfect incentive to start trying to buy stuff again. I've decided to become a sad bastard too and make a spreadsheet of the albums I want, both to download and to buy on vinyl if financially possible. By the time I'm 40 I hope to have a decent chunk ticked off Been looking around and apparently the Eels albums are due to be reissued? Oh please I also never knew Howl had been reissued. SuperJohnny won't be happy. First/new additions: SOTSOG and New Moon by Elliott Smith

The problem with those want lists is that for every record you buy, a new one goes on. So they can't ever be completed. At least that's how it goes here.

Nice, I'd imagine the strands record is worth a pretty penny.

It better be, but then again, how many people will be interested in it? Am chuffed though, got that and the Verve record from the same seller. Two of my favourite records and both were reasonably priced. Figured I might as well get them now while I've still got some cash.

I got Lee Hazlewood's requiem for an almost lady and a first pressing of Cowboy In Sweden off of a swedish version of ebay, got both for about 30 quid. I've seen cowboy in sweden go for over £100 on normal Ebay in the pastl

That's quite a deal, don't think they can be found for less. They ask 30 for the Cowboy in Sweden CD alone ffs.

Alright, the last ones before I stop for a while:
Bert Jansch - Birthday Blues; a first pressing in almost mint state Traffic - John Barleycorn Must Die; seller threw it in with the Bert Jansch record, not bad Lee Hazlewood - 13; re-press from '99. Not my favourite Hazlewood but it was in mint state and not expensive Oasis - Mucky Fingers 12"; was 5 Jeuro so what the hay BDI - that Record Store Day box from the US with three 7"'s

So, what did everyone get on Record Store Day? Picked up the Verve EP and "There are But Four Small Faces" Also, I think I just had a big find, it's a record called "People of the World" by Black Velvet. It's on Pye Records, 1972, and it's a soul/funk album. Don't know anything about the band. Did an internet search on it (yes, I am 62) but there is not any information to be found besides it being listed on auction sites. Only cost me 5 quid and it's mint. Anyway, I felt so bad about possibly ripping the guy off I bought "Darkside of the Moon" and the "Notorious Byrd Brothers" as well (both dirt cheap as well ) I'm sure I will now grow to love Darkside of the Moon tbh.

Now Andy has left I have no problem admitting that I really love Dark Side Of The Moon I only know "Is It Me You Really Love" by Black Velvet, really laid back deep soul kinda thing, great tune, is it on that LP? Will have to try and get hold of that record. In unrelated news this morning I listened to Love To Love You Baby by Donna Summer, what a great record.

Haven't heard of that, it's not on this lp nor do I know if it's the same band. Just put the record on, no doubt this is the kind of stuff Paul Weller touches himself to when he's alone with his moped. It sounds like prog mixed with jazz, soul and psychedelia. Proper weird stuff, pretty good.

Some similar stuff which you may or may not of heard which I think you'd dig are Demon Fuzz's "Afreaka!" & Purple Image's self titled debut.
