A bit too calm. Last night didn't do much for me. I understand that at this point, there is no need for character development, but I really don't understand why there wasn't a larger focus on JPinkman. OK, so it really is gonna be Walt facing it all, which is fine. I guess I've always kinda assumed that JP was going have a larger role in the end of this.
7/10

Waste of an episode imo.
I saw on FB that HBO posted the last 2 episodes were supposed to be 75mins? What happened there?
edit: It was 75 mins with ads

I don't know why, but I loved last night's episode. Especially the end. They were going to have to do *something* in a bit of a timelapse to get us to the flash forward (which I was always worried about how they'd handle) and I think it was pretty effective. Nice Charlie Rose cameo, too.

I thought it was a great episode. No matter what they did, it wasn't going to be better than the previous episode but there were some great moments for sure (Todd's chilling threat to Skylar; Jesse's escape; the cold blooded murder of Andrea; Walt holed up in the cabin; Walt Jr going mental at Walt)
I really felt for Walt in this episode; especially when he was hidden away in that cabin. At his very core, he's still a good human being with strong family values. I thought the end was done in spectacular fashion and really got me pumped for the finale. It was also very cool to hear more of the song that is used in the opening credits.
As for Jesse, I still think he's gonna have a big part to play. The way I see it, him & Walt are even now. As far as Jesse is now concerned, it's Walt's fault that the junkie whore died and as far as Walt is concerned, it's Jesse's fault Hank died. They've now both lost somebody they love at the hands of those Neo Nazi fuckers so I think the finale will be Walt & Jesse taking out those fuck heads.

thought the last episode was great, it needed to dial it down a bit after the previous episode and the before the final one - plus andrea fucking got popped ffs!
love todd, great character and genuinely chilling.

Baz knows the score.
Welshylad, you really need to chill the fuck out. It was hardly a waste of an episode and it set the finale up wonderfully.
Bitch.

I did not see the Andrea thing coming, but Aaron Paul's performance in that scene gave me chills and made me tear up a little. What an actor. Emmys for everyone!

I have to agree with the logic, as in, both of them have lost what is most dear to them, but I'm not sure if they'll ever "team up" again. I don't see Jesse ever forgiving Walt for letting Jane die, there's just no way.

Right back at you I didnt dislike it, just thought it was a bit shit compared to the last two. That end scene with the title music playing was epic though Walt's going after every fucker.. Rambo style

ive had the boxset of season 1 of this for a couple of years now and the rest is on netflix so ive no excuse really. was always planning on saving it for once ive finished sopranos but lets face it, ive slowly been ploughing my way through that for years now and still have loads left. started watching breaking bad at the weekend and loving it already. having the day off work sick today with man flu so planning on getting through a load more episodes today and at least finising season 1.

I hear what you're saying; it took me years to get through The Sopranos, whereas with BB or The Wire it only took me like 2 weeks. The Sopranos is just so...tough to just sit around and watch it non-stop, I couldn't do it. I could only manage about 1 or 2 episodes a week.
