I think you might like King Tuff & Audacity which are both on that blog if you dig Hunx & Natural Child.

I'll download them too. Natural Child is the kind of band I always wait for but never actually find anymore.

I just heard that Natural Child record and bored me to death, although I must confess I was already bored when I started listening to it. Not bad but my 3 years ago self could write more exciting songs in his sleep. I'm pretty sure Hunx is even worse.

Best album of 2012 so far is still Cloud Nothings ... runner up right now is Divine Fits.

Cloud nothings album is really good yeah.
Anyone who enjoys electronic music (and the rest of you fuckers - but I know you won't) should check out Four Tet's new album 'pink', it's excellent, right up there with their best work.

Also got round to hearing the Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs album a few days ago, would definitely recommend it.

Listened again today and it seemed better than it did on first listen, still not convinced but hopefully it will continue to grow on me.
The sound of this and the last record I can see how you'd be such a fan JP, it is a bit PAINS in places especially the guitar sounds. I think I prefer the louder style of the earlier stuff
btw, do you still buy vinyl jp? pains first album is 6 pound on hmv.

only really normally buy the odd bit of second hand vinyl cheap in charity shops and stuff but quite tempted for pains at that price, will have a look. and yeah for me raveonettes albums since lust lust lust have that slightly more poppy sound that i really love. that lp is probably still my all time fave of theirs, but last years raven in the grave i fucking loved too. in and out of control probably took me longest to get into but even that i proper love now - tunes like last dance and suicide are up there with their best. am kinda tempted to get a ticket for their TCOTU show in december. its been about 6 years since i last saw them live and they never seem to come my way anymore. ive no holiday left from work though so it would mean getting the train straight from work, getting to TCOTU about 8 going to gig then getting home about 1.30am for work the next morning. the venue is close to liverpool st though so im tempted but lets face it, il never do it

Loved the last Raveonettes album, just waiting for this one too leak in FLAC before I get on it I'm quite enjoying the new Dinosaur Jr album, it's got a couple of shitters on it but on the whole it's pretty good. Cat Power's new one sounds good too, albeit only off a first listen.

Don't know if anyone has previously mentioned them as you can't search three letter words, but just listened to TOY's debut and it looks promising, although I think they lack a bit of energy. Try them if you like The Horrors, SCUM...
