i downloaded my first album of 2014 today, mogwai's rave tapes, so thought we may as well start a thread for discussion of 2014 releases.
who do we have due to be releasing albums this year then?
ones i can think of off the top of my head that im excited to hear are...
mogwai
paws
the horrors
beck
guided by voices
jimi goodwin
the rifles
cloud nothings
struggling to think of that many tbh.

This year nearly everyone released a record, so don't think 2014 will be that packed. Here there are some I'm looking for
The Horrors
Black Lips
King Tuff
Beck
Dum Dum Girls
Stephen Malkmus
Howler
Broken Bells, The Dead Weather and The Rifles are also releasing something, but don't have my stakes very high.
Also maybe Fleet Foxes, Wilco, Ariel Pink, Tallest Man On Earth, Royal Headache...

I've downloaded Dum Dum Girls but I haven't listened to it yet.
I'm looking forward to
The Pains of Being Pure at Heart .. currently being mixed in TCOTU.
The Drums - Hopeful they have a new one out this year.

The Twilight Sad are back in the studio, hopefully a new LP sees the light of day in 2014. Other Jock albums I'm looking forward to include the mighty PAWS and Honeyblood, and rap trio Young Fathers.

Yeah SFA isn't happening any time soon. From what I've read it seems like there might be some bad blood between the guys. Gruff has a couple of bits planned for next year so there's that to look forward to.
