just downloaded an album from exy by a canadian band called solids. really enjoying it on first listen, worth a download for anyone who likes dinosaur jr and the like.

Yeah I love it. I remember you bigging up their last record though I just couldn't get into it. Though I saw them at a festival the year after and enjoyed them so I'm going to revisit it.

I have finally fallen into The War on Drugs' clutches, magnificent record. The Haunting Idle is a bit of a stumble, but the rest of the record blends in perfectly with my current mood.

The War on Drugs record is pretty weak- in places it sounds like a dodgy 80's teen movie soundtrack. Compared to Slave Ambient it.... well, it doesn't compare. It misses Kurt Vile's influence big time.
