Very difficult to see anyone but England winning this.

France has two defenders from noted defensive powerhouse Manchester City in their squad? Just give them the trophy now.

lucky for everybody that scotland have decided not to enter
however i am going for
a semi final line up off
france v spain and
england v germany
with a spain germany final
after england going out on penalties to germany despite leading 7 - 0 with only five minutes left
danny wellbeck retires after the semi final and is put in the girrafe enclosure at edinburgh zoo at full time

Hopefully England has a decent run.
Certainly no excuses this time round.
Think Spain might rebound after the cock up of 2014.

Rashford and Delph are a bit of a joke plus only three CBs? Massive risk. How come the latter hasn't been picked up on?
With Vardy, Kane and Sturridge I don't see the point of Rashford at all (and I do still fear he'll be another Macheda). May as well take Defoe who's proven, Carroll as a plan B, or Walcott as a more natural replacement for Welbeck.

Dier can play CB too.

Yeah, Dier as 4th choice CB makes sense I think. If there was a clear first choice RB then I can imagine Hodgson would have taken them only and an extra CB saying that Stones/Milner could fill in at RB if needed. As it is, it's not really clear whether Clyne or Walker will start (likewise Rose & Bertrand) so it's probably the first England squad in a while where taking 4 full backs seems like the right call.
I'll be surprised if Rashford, Delph & Drinkwater aren't the 3 dropped, though I'd like to think Drinkwater will get picked over Henderson.
I don't really get the fuss about Wilshere being picked, he's a good option off the bench if nothing else (but hopefully more than that). If the CM options to change a game were Wilshere, Delph, Henderson & Milner then I know who I'd be hoping to see warming up.

yeah the fuss over wilshere being picked is mainly cos other fans don't really like him. he is comfortably england's best midfielder if he is fit, and doesn't take long to hit the ground running from injury (until being injured again). as soon as he came on for arsenal the other week, we looked much better. Also he has played well for england too on a number of occasions.
...........Hart............
Clyne...Smalling...Cahill...Rose
.......Wilshere...Dier..........
Sterling...Alli......Vardy
.........Kane...............
Looks tasty as fuck to be honest. I assume Rooney will play ahead of either Sterling or Vardy. I hope Henderson doesn't get the nod, never seen him play well for England.
