Thought it was pretty damned good. Definitely worth a second go-round to catch all the bits you didn't the first time. And JGL is damned tasty if I do say so..

Saw it on Sunday, was pretty damn good tbh.. My only complaint... That fuckin last scene, where the thing keeps spinning, or does it... Hate it when films do that

I'm not a film buff at all and this kind of shit is way too heavy for me. I watched it on Saturday night in a ramned cinema and I can't deal with that many melts in such close proximity as well so that also hindered my enjoyment of the film.
I'd put it in the same bracket as Shutter Island. Good film but too long. I probably enjoyed forming an opinion on what went on after the film more than I did watching it.
Tom Hardy is saucy in it.

i saw it yesterday and thought it was fucking amazing tbh. the sort of film that you could probably pick to shreds if you spent ages going through the plot point by point, but that didn't matter one bit imo. it looked and especially sounded colossal, was uniformly excellently acted, paced to perfection and ultimately just struck exactly the right tone to be both entertaining and immensely satisfying.

Tom Hardy is saucy in it. He's saucy in everything. Totally didn't realize it was him till I recognized the accent. And I remembered that from seeing him in this movie called Bronson.

I had my own problems with the kid out of 3rd Rock From The Sun. Where the fuck has he popped up from? He must have got that role from the job centre

How big is Liverpool?
I find it hard to believe Bob, Slam, Byram and Axl have never bumped into eachother out and about. I've bumped into people on here randomly and TCOTU's mad big.

I saw it last night, WOW, What a complete waste of time. The entire film's plot, look away if you are planning on seeing it though believe you me 1: you are missing nothing, 2: I am doing you a favour.
WE ARE IN A DREAM IT CAN'T BE YES THE SUBCONSCIOUS OF WHOS DREAM? A DREAM IN A DREAM? OH WE ARE AWAKE NO WE'RE NOT WE ARE IN A DREAM LOL LETS SEE HOW MANY TIMES WE CAN SAY DREAM IN THE NEXT SCENE LOL I JUST HAD A DREAM THAT I SAW TOY STORY 3 LOL
So we are thrown into the story at 100 miles per hour and it remains that way from the start to the finish. Not at any point is there any remotely interesting character development. All we know is that LEO has lost his wife and kids which is essentially the same deal we get with Shutter Island which means LEO can do his confused hamster look another 276 times in this film as well. This wasn't enough for me to really care what happened to him, so first of all we have a massive problem, I don't give a shit about the main character. Not that Leo is bad, he puts in another solid performance as always but as usual just solid nothing more. Ken Watanabe who plays Saito & the dude from 28 days later also give good performances & I liked parts of the shootout in the snow... this is where anything remotely good about the film ends. The Bird from Juno, completely out of her depth, totally miscast, stick to your silly indie comedies. Not helped by the fact she has zero back story, Toryboy Micheal Cane introduces her 'shes good at puzzles lmao' & we see her do a couple of silly pencil drawings and are expected to believe that she is willing to be put into these ridiculous long dreams where she can risk her life? Out nowhere she really cares about LEO's problems? Why? No reason, just the bird from Juno is big money right now so people will enjoy watching her however ridiculous her character may be. Gorden-Levitt manages to be even more plastic an emotionless as he was in Brick which is quite some achievement then you have Tom Hardly, pathetic accent, I guess meant to be some kind of comedy relief in parts yet just came across as a complete useless cunt.
Terrible flashy editing that ruins almost every action scene, 'lets shoot a gun firing' CHOP 'lets have juno say DREAM twice quickly' CHOP 'how about a car smashing up' CHOP 'LEO, CAN U SAY DREAM FOR US? 'LOL OK, DREAM!' -insert silly Matrix ripoff fight scene
I really don't understand what people see in this film, Do people really come away from Inception thinking they've seen something groundbreaking, something that really caught them by surprise? I refuse to accept the idea that we should just forget the 1000 plot holes and just go along for the ride because the ride was pretty much dull anyway. What am I supposed to get from repeat viewings apart from a headache from the flashy editing.
This is a terrible film for the sort of people that liked the matrix because they thought it was so damn clever, completely dull, lifeless movie that quite obviously isn't as good as toy story 3.
I know new films always go high on imdb but a 9.3 LOL better than the Shining? Better than once apon a time in the west LOL I struggle to think of a modern big blockbuster I've disliked more in the past few years
3/10

I like it when mahoney goes proper ranty, a rare pleasure. I don't agree at all but it's good to see someone who gives a shit, like Liam before his 'if people like it they like it, if they don't they don't' days.
Ellen Page is a tidy little thing though, I can't comment in this thread without saying that.
