My god Alvvays leaked in the worst fucking transcode I have ever heard. 29 mb zip file.
I'm cringing as I listen.. it's like the old days again of getting shitty first leaks

Barns.
It's just nice jangle pop man.
Saved By The Waif is fucking fantastic.
And yes new pains is sadly garbage. Hurts my heart.

I've only heard Plimsoll Punks from the new one and love it.
Also love the Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile track.

I like it too.
LCD on first listen was magnificent. Need to spend more time on it, a couple of tracks I wasn't sure about but holy shit there was a run in the middle of the record that sounded fucking incredible.

Also love the Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile track. Feels like a missed oppourtunity to not release an album under the name 'Kurt & Courtney' and title it 'No, Not Them' or something.

Guess LCD lovers will love it, nothing too risky or unexpected on it. Excepting the terrible cover art. It bores me a bit but I never was big fan.
Giving a first listen to Good by Melbourne band The Stevens and it's promising. 18 short and direct songs in GBV style (the first one is the longest and still under 4 min), obviously a bit like Connections but closer to Pavement I'd say. Might grow on me depending on the strength of the melodies, too early to say.

New Ride and Slowdive albums have both grown on me massively after revisiting them recently. Having a bit of a shoe gaze phase and they make much more sense now.

Having my first proper to listen to LCD Soundsystem and absolutely loving it. Seems a bit less dancey than the other albums but still maintains everything that makes LCD Soundsystem.

Anyone heard much of Flyte? Just listening to a couple of their tracks now - got quite a Beatles / Beach Boys vibe going on.
