it's october, albums are starting to get confirmed release dates for next year so it's time to start this thread.
i must admit i'm a bit concerned about 2018. whilst i don't think 2017 has been a classic year, it has had a ridiculous number of my favourite artists release albums so i'm not sure how many decent albums to expect in 2018 really. hopefully they'll be a few surprises.
post below what you are looking forward to/expecting so far and then as things get confirmed/leaked we can discuss them further here.
here's what i can think of off the top of my head...
arctic monkeys (think theyve confirmed it should be out next year)
the libertines (as above)
brmc (confirmed for january)
the go team (not confirmed but touring again and have said more news is on the way so im expecting it)
bill ryder jones (apparently nearly finished so should be out next year)
spiritualized (was due this year but apparently jason is rerecording it so i assume a 2018 release)
the prodigy (confirmed for 2018)
my bloody valentine (rumours started, i'll believe it when i see it)
interpol (confirmed for 2018)
dmas (new track dropped, lp coming next year)
electric soft parade (posted on facebook the other day that theyre working on a new album)
not masses to get excited about there really. what else are we expecting?
