obviously its not a classic and won't be threatening my end of year list but just listening to the new art brut album and its put a massive smile on my face. eddie argos has a great turn of phrase.

Anyone spent much time with the Super Furries' BBC live sessions?
I'm digging the 2001 proto version of Zoom!

I forgot all about it TBH. I'll wait until the new year when I'm not feeling the weight of my end of year list crippling my soul.

You were once the 'Mr Dependable' of the Soapbox when it came to the annual lists. No more! I hope you get your shit together for the benefit of your Royal Mail customers.

The list will be delivered on time, or near abouts don't you worry. I just mean those BBC sessions will have to wait.

I've heard Mitski's album for the first time this week and it is a revelation! As is Georgia Anne Muldrow's.

Anyone heard ALIEN BOY? I just heard a few songs on youtube, sort of 90s loud guitars, bit shoegazy, bit alternative rock the singer looks like a 12 year old DWEEB plus he has an Oasis t-shit Downloading the record now.. though it's TOO LATE to make the list!

Charlotte Gainsbourg just released an ep, sounding nice on first listen if you enjoyed the kind of French chanson filtered by Daft Punk thing of her last release

I'm not posting in the end of the year list because it's not a proper top. Just 3 albums I've really enjoyed in 2018.
Go-Kart Mozart - Mozart's Mini Mart Kero Kero Bonito - Bonito Generation Soft Science Maps
Wait, I've also liked (but not as much) Itchy Teeth and Dead Meadow.

I know precisely fuck all about traditional Oirish music. I like a bit of the Pogues and the Dubliners when drinking, but who doesn't?
But this, from last year has blown my tiny mind.
