despite its crazy length, i keep getting drawn back to this thurston moore album and fucking love it now. 3.5 stars is getting bumped to a 4 on rym.

I've only managed to get through it twice, and having another go now. There are moments that are just glorious. Looking forward to my flight to Raleigh on Saturday afternoon to give this my undivided attention. |

i'm really enjoying the debut album from w.h lung. saw them at latitude last year and they have british sea power/arcade fire type vibes with a bit of krautrock influence thrown in too. Got this on this morning, really enjoying it. |

Listening to a Dutch band called Pip Blom. Female-fronted poppy grunge type stuff. Dunno why but I reckon JP would like it. Singer sounds a bit like Courtney Barnett.
