I thought Beck's wasn't quite as awful as the last one. I'll probably give it another listen as there was a few bits I thought sounded OK. Though it really does feel like it has been made by an algorithm bot of popular youtube hits. I hate Trap-trap at the best of times, so hearing Beck flirt with that just makes me cringe. I see he has distanced himself from Scientology now he has split up with his wife, this must be a mid-life crisis, hopefully he realises he's being a shit cunt before it is too late. A shame because his live band he has now is on fire, those gigs a few years ago really did feel like a great celebration of all things Beck minus the few new numbers they'd play.
Will give Bronson's a listen, hadn't heard about it either. Mind you, with his TV popularity nowadays it seems his raping career comes second. Nice little interview with Ariel Helwani from a few weeks back. I still need to go back and watch all the fuck that's delicious episodes as I only saw bits and pieces. The guy is such a star

No. I scored the last one even lower, there is a couple of tunes which are almost passable. But I don’t want to get into an argument regarding modern beck, he’s become so gutless that they’re not worth talking about

I was grading on a curve, obviously. It's fine to listen to on my headphones while i'm working, but i'm not spending any quality time with it.
The 'new' Harry Nilsson album sounds exactly like every Ringo Starr album for the last 25 years. That isn't a compliment, even from me.

Giving the Moon Duo album that was released a couple of months ago a listen and enjoying it, perhaps because every track so far sounds like they're sampling A Storm in Heaven era Verve.
