I didn't! Cheers.
For Big Thief fans, the new Adrianne Lenker solo effort is bloody fantastic on first listen.

Decided to give the new Springsteen album a spin seeing as I've decided to make more of an effort, and wow, its really good. Maybe I think this because I haven't heard his classic albums yet. But yeah, really enjoying it a ton.

Sturgill's "reimagining his hits as bluegrass" album is great, but be prepared...it's a lot of bluegrass.

He's an interesting dude. I remember trying the one from about 2014, and it was just too much of a soundtrack to fuck your nephew to, though I saw him at a festival (JP, I think watched too?) and he and his band were outstanding. The one after weren't bad, I never heard the one from last year where he went all rock. Might give the new one a go.

Enjoying the latest from Juanita Stein. Didn't realize until today she was the singer in Howling Bells and actually has a few records out. This new, Snapshot, is really good.

Saw him twice, the first being in a club in montreal which was like waylon jennings fronting the stones in 1972. Horns, bluegrass, rock, everything. The 2nd was at a festival 2 years ago when it was just him, a bass player, drummer and keys and it was just ballz out rock. Both were amazing, and yet totally different. His albums are enjoyable, but nowhere near as good as his live act.

Enjoying 'Play With Fire' by L.A. Witch, female garage rock trio sounding a bit QOTSA/Black Angels. Just trying this now and it sounds fucking ace so far!

I've had it on repeat a lot, can't get enough of them at the moment. Checked out the first album too which was fine but not as good as this. 'Drive Your Car' is a tune though (free download here: kutx.org/song-of-the-day/l-a-witch-drive-your-carAlso digging this new compilation album of synth-pop stuff from artists on the same label, all new songs.

I might buy a ticket for that Gorillaz livestream thing next month, they might actually do something different than the usual remote-show (lots of collabs expected right?) and quite enjoy the new record so...

Had a couple of listens, just feels like another Cribs album to me. I don't mean that as a big insult, but I've a feeling in a few months time I'll only ever want to return to a couple of tunes from it. Still, as long as they keep touring I don't mind.

No, I was waiting for it to sell out & them to add a Saturday date but that hasn't happened yet. Will see nearer the time. At this rate it'll probably happen in about 2024.

new kali uchis album is ideal. her last album was my favourite of that year, so I was excited and a bit nervous to see where she'd go next, and it seems the move to a bunch of slinky spanish banger ballads was perfectly fucking inspired? love it.

anyone checked Shabrang bu Sevdaliza out yet? A Dutch-Iranian artist and her music is lush vibrato vocals with electronic, trip-hoppy strings. it's really very good.

Nick caves new live album is fantastic, many of the tracks are better than the originals.
it’s just nick cave and a piano, it’s certainly no intimate affair, the songs sound massive, such is the minimalism of his last two records which I love btw
