Yep, Nick Cave & Warren Ellis is tremendous. White Elephant is my favourite so far. That change in the song at 3:16 floored me.

What do you think of the new record? I think it might be my 3rd favorite. I can't count the shit that they are doing on bandcamp where you gotta subscribe and what not.

You know... Last year I heard his solo demoish record and the first of the bandcamp only releases (both bringing back to the lofi era which I used to love) and with this one I've been having a bit of an overdose of Cloud Nothings. I'd say this is the tightest and most direct release, pretty good melodies and all, but the production is a bit strange to me. Like the tracks were assembled from different takes of the songs. Maybe I might enjoy it more if I leave it aside for a few weeks and come back to it later in the year...

I think the new Jane Weaver album might be favourite so far this year.

Enjoyed the new nick cave album. Shattered ground is one of his best ever songs.

The Drums are dropping an early b-side album/remixes.

I highly rate early drums. (Debut and Portamento are two of my favorite records).

It's an EP not an album but I think this is great. Real Spacemen 3 vibes on the opening tune.




It's my brothers band so apologies for coming back here to promote something i'm connected with. But also not sorry as it's spot on and i'm sure a few people will actually like it anyway.

The new Lana Del Ray is pretty ace on first listen. She really can write a song.

This is a bit of a change of pace. More downtempo- more folky. The closer, with Weyes Blood guesting is wonderful.
