"her sister is Catherine O’Hara, who played Macauley Culkin’s mum in Home Alone". Ok, I'm sold.

She had one super album in the late 80s (Miss America) and then basically dropped off the face of the earth. She’s playing a small club as part of our jazz festival, and I almost fell off my chair when I read the name on the lineup announcement.
Hopefully this doesn’t end up like the time I had tickets to the La’s all those years ago.

I saw The Lathums the other week. Don’t ask me why. A very strange band. Songs are basically crap ballads for men living in the north of England. 6.

Friday, August 18th Churchill Park Music Festival (Day 2)
Alanis Morrissette Metric
I'll be honest. I don't give a shit about Alanis but all my friends are going. I really like Metric so I am glad I will see them live again but I really don't give a fucking shit about Alanis. The cost of these tickets are $148 CAD (87 QUID).
Don't get out much, so if anything I am gonna get hammered and try and start a Dave Coulier chant.
BTW, if anybody is interested day 1 of the festival has The Lumineers as the headline. HO HO HEY ---- NOOOOO

Supposed to see Noel/garbage, Robert plant and the smile at outdoor gigs over the next two weeks, but the forest fire smoke in our region is causing outdoor events to be cancelled all over the place. Concerning.

I almost have my finger on the trigger here to get tickets to see The National in Dublin in September. Do I pull that trigger? Or am I having a contact high listening to the new album?
Fuck - DO I DO THIS.
