Sounds amazing . biggest tune of the album, easily. Chorus is vintage strokes and massive.

Yeah it's the best track on it; this album is definitely like SOTSOG, it's dull on first listen, but when you really sit down and listen it's probably one of their best. It's at 8.5 for me right now. Even You're So Right has revealed itself to me, the guitars are incredible in it.

the standouts:
Machu Picchu is addicting as hell. Sounds like your entering the future. Nick and Albert are brilliant guitarists, riff after riff they get you going on this one.
UnderCover Darkness - Vintage Strokes. Great.
Taken For A Fool - that letterman performance is breath taking. Julian looks animated and fuck you vibe, i couldn't stop watching.. The energy I hadn't seen since those NYC Cops or say Reptilia days. " MOMMAAAAH"
Gratisfaction - HAPPY TIMES ARE HERE. What a chorus. Someone said it sounds like something amazing from somewhere else... i duno call me crazy, but i hear - thin lizy - the boys are back in town a bit in this? hehe... give a shit, its awesome awesome, the tune to cheers to in the bar and give chicks winks to.
Games - there is something about this.. i can't tell you why i dig it.
Life's Simple in the Moonlight - perhaps my favourite.
review the rest letter.... In general, this album has a solid sonic flow it. not every song has to be standout single.

I really like it the way it is, but I really hope the original recording of 'Games' with guitars on it ends surfacing..

Albert had some hardcore drug problems in the recording of the album... read that i think in the NME newsfeed few days back.. He looks like such a nice gentleman though.
that video is cool.. okay maybe few rain drops too long in the beginning.

Any word in the booklet on wether they recorded Machu Picchu on Mêlée Island or not? If Mêlée Island is Albert's upstate New York house's name, then yes.

I heard their new video will be shot on the streets of New York. Well the band is walking on the streets of New York, Julian is doing his part in the CSI studios
