He sounds fine. It wasnt an insult. The question is whether the songs are there or not. The clips dont have enough to them to judge that, but I tend to agree with Babu so far Nah I didn't take that way. That 'For Anyone' sounds like it could be a turd of epic proportions.

Wigwam sounds like it could be a decent ballad. It sounds so much like a Hehe title that its hard to take seriously at the moment.

That was one of the ones mentioned in the NME as a stand out.
Pretty sure Kill For A Dream will be big. Liking that Millionaire aswell. Like you said you can tell though. The ones you think are good will be shit and vice versa.

Four Letter Word and The Roller seem to be the best of the lot for me. Millionaire, For Anyone and Wigwam are decent. Would like to hear more of Kill For a Dream. The rest are a bit meh but until I hear it in full I won't dismiss them. it doesn't sound too rocking tbh. lots of blues progressions and acoustic guitars agreed babs, was hoping for out & out ballsy rock songs but for the most part it is bluesy with mainly acoustic guitars as you said. Still it's nice to finally hear some of the album

One good point: Liam is singing them all; been a while!

First thought: highly disappointing, heavy stereo level of songwriting which isnt a compliment. Maybe the full tunes will make it better though. And that production... sounds like britpop bands from the 90s trying to sound like the big acts of that time. Why didnt they do a record with Man of Misery production ? that's where they should be: muddy guitar, big drums. It's too clean. It'll probably be an enjoyable but forgetable record. just that.

Lot quieter than I expected. But it's really nice hearing Liam do something a little different than Oasis. I really like Millionaire. And Beatles & Stones wasn't as cringe-worthy as I originally imagined it being

Four Letter Word - Ok but still to be determined whether its a great opener and single worthy Millionaire - Sounded good The Roller - Interesting Beatles and Stones - Not terrible as expected - but forgetable Wind Up Dream - Again Filler Bring the Light - Its a grower - and different to everything else For Anyone - Sounds great Kill For A Dream - Sounds Great Standing on the Edge of the Noise - Very good - very Oasis - reminscent of Headshrinker Wigwam - Sounds good Three Ring Circus - Filler The Beat Goes - Sounds great The Morning Sun - Jury Still Out
Overall sounds like has lots of potential bar 2 or 3 duff tracks

It sounds....soft. Never thought I'd say that about something Liam did. There's a few tracks on there that sound like they could be big, though.

I'm not arsed if it's poppy personally, just arsed if it's 'good'. I'd ten times prefer songbird to Aint got nothing numbers. In fact tbh heavy rock'n'roll would sound a bit lame coming from middle aged men!

Based on the clips, if they got rid of Beatles and Stones and Three Ring Circus it has the potential to be a top 11 track album

I dunno, I kind of like 'three ring circus'. It sounds a bit like 'the nature of reality'...y'know, if 'the nature of reality' wasn't a colossal turd.
