Just had a quick listen to the clips. There's a few duff moments but overall, I'm really looking forward to the album.

[/B] By the way, why is Bring the Light not in this?[/quote] Why would someone go out of their way to post a 30-sec clip of a song we have in full already?

Its not so much that they're not up tempo rockers, its just the production is so flat, there is absolutely nothing interesting going on at all, sounds like they just cleanly closed mic'd everything and levelled them out, tbf, at least with Bring The Light the production is a tad rawer, these just 'sound' really flim-flam I like the production very much, and Im Jorma.

Last night, I decided to sellotape all the clips together in Acid Pro, so i didn't have to fanny about with several short clips. It sounds like some kind of demented medley

Haha class I've still got high-hopes for this album tbh. Listened to the clips as well as that Soundcloud medley a few times now and I don't think anything is completely honking. When compated to Oasis, more specifically, Noel, it's not the best but who really cares as long as you can have a good singalong? I think The Roller will be great. Give a fuck if it sounds like Instant Karma. Surely nobody expected anything truly inspired from Beady Eye? I dunno. I expected it to be rockier from what Liam had said but it still sounds good to me, Standing On The Edge of Noise sounds like it could be massive as fuck and Wigwam sounds like it could be excellent.

Why is everyone excited that the roller sounds like instant karma? FFS, "won't let you down" sounds like "instant karma mixed with give peace a chance mixed with Hary Nilsson shrooming on cloud nine with the kinks and Winston Churchill" (©N.Gallagher 2005).
Just because it sounds like a good song doesn't mean it'll *be* a good song. (not to say that it *won't* be, but...)

We actually heard bit of that one, though. And it sounds nice enough.

Genuine question.

I'm as excited as I was before listening to anything tbh. A few good tunes in the way Oasis fans love and the rest dispise, lots of unfinished/predictable songs and thousand of people claiming they're all derivative. Agree it sounds like DBTT but cleaner, which it's a little surprising but we should have seen it coming. Liking The Roller and For Anyone, Liam sounding nice and breezy. Not gonna listen to the clips again though.

Had a few listens now, still doesn't sound too impressive. But as with anything "Oasis" I never really get into it first of all
Wigwam is immense though, fucking loving that clip
I just don't get Liam doing that stupid voice on some of the songs

the production is so bland, actually wouldn't mind hearing what bring the light sounded like from this itunes source -- hopefully flat as shit, because then i'd have a little more faith that these will end up sounding better on the album.
the only song that sounded like it had some meat on its bones was man of misery.
