I say this every year but this award is so TCOTU centric it’s laughable. And spare me your ‘IDLES are a Bristol band’ they are an act with TCOTU publishing, TCOTU PRs etc.

The SAY Awards are great. They give a platform to Scottish artists, but more importantly, I’ve managed to get drunk at the ceremony for free for the last 5 years. The Mercury don’t just ignore the Jocks. They ignore all labels that don’t have the TCOTU publicity machine behind them. |
