suck it up Chrissie, Lahndon retains the mercury prize for the 5th year in a row! Come and take it from us you cunt. I’m already on the record on this forum as being a big fan of Dave and his album, so on this occasion, I can take some minor satisfaction from the Mercury prize winner.

A small chink in the armour, there! A slippery slope.. Give it six months and the Wynd will all be living in TCOTU.

imagine liking Idles. I've never seen anything so phoney, how can so many fall for such dross? Fucking losers in the crowd falling for it too, thinking they're so dangerous. Everything wrong with rock n roll. Embarrassment.

A small chink in the armour, there! A slippery slope.. Give it six months and the Wynd will all be living in TCOTU. There’s only two of us left, so we are already 50% a TCOTU band. We are just as cockney as Chas and Dave these days.

Just did a quick tally up and here are the findings:
Wins: TCOTU - 14 Bristol -2 Bridport - 2 Glasgow - 2 Manchester - 2 Sheffield - 2 Bury - 1 Edinburgh - 1 Leeds - 1 Southport - 1 Chichester - 1
England - 27 Scotland - 2
In conclusion, TCOTU wins music.
Sucks to be not from TCOTU or at least English.

Can anyone on this forum claim to have listened to one of his albums before the shortlist was published?

I've heard all of Ken Bridport's records, even the B-sides!

No thread this year?
The show itself was one of the best of them I can remember.
And best winners since Sampha.
......and another winner for TCOTU. OBVS
