As a few of you may have caught wind of, late yeseterday we spilled the beans that we'd had the chance to preview new music from The Strokes. While RCA is keeping most of the details of the forthcoming new full length album (yes, you read that correctly) under wraps, we can tell you that of the two songs we heard, one was a more synth driven track, with the other (the aforementioned, "All The Time") packing a classic Strokes sound. No mention of a tour came up, but we can tell you, you'll be hearing new music from the band sooner than later, with the new album to be released later this year. More when we can share...Follow us on Facebook and Twitter to be the first to find out. www.1077theend.com/pages/11684758.php?pid=290511

Is it wrong that I'm really, really uninterested? fake edit: I mean I'll still download it illegally and watch them play live if they come to Colombia, but I mean... meh?

One good album in ten years wouldn't be a bad thing.

On another note, The Postal Service are also coming back this year too, according to their website. "What is this, 2004 again?", said a strangely jolly Ana earlier today. Looking forward to all the songs about Zooey Deschanel's quirkiness.

The intro and chorus sounds like a girl covering an unsuccessful A-ha single. Maybe it grows on you though, it does have some potential for a drunken party...

Yeah it hasn't grown on me, I kinda really don't like it at all. Sorry to let you down, 21-year-old me.
