Had never bothered with Young Fathers before but their latest album is pretty sweet.

I have just recently heard something by Younghusband, for what it is worth.

Anyone tried the new Vaccines yet?
Just stuck it on now having only heard Dream Lover before (which I like) so this should be interesting.

The Vaccines always deliver (although listened to it only once and can't remember a good deal of it).
BTW is that Starbucks song the most playful Neil has ever sounded? I thought it would be shit but I quite enjoy it.

Sundays & Cybele- a Japanese Psych band have released this awesome record called Gypsy House. It's all in Japanese so I haven't the foggiest what they're on about but the music is mind blowing. You can buy it direct from their label (Guruguru Brain) below. gurugurubrain.bandcamp.com/album/gypsy-houseReally been loving this. Though I will say, this is a kind of re-issue/compilation. The record came out in 2012 and was actually a double album. The vinyl release is a remastered version of selected tracks from that record. rateyourmusic.com/release/album/シベールの日曜日/gypsy_house/ Can't find the original record anywhere to download, really wanna hear the rest of the material.

I think the new Cristopher Owens record is the best thing he ever did. Certainly my favourite album of the year so far

I think he's a tad overrated. Decent composer and he's never released a dud but don't think he will ever do something mindblowing. Guess his best virtue is the "feeling", but meh.

That Leon Bridges album is a delight. Also Wolf Alice leaked, have a soft spot for them as they're an amazing live band but I'm not sure if they'll deliver on record.

I'm very much enjoying the new Torres album 'Sptinter', it's got a definite early PJ Harvey vibe on a couple of the songs, but I'm really liking it.
The Du Blonde record is quite good fun aswell

The FFS Franz / Sparks album is amazing. Although I suspect Karl will hate it.

It would be better with two tracks less, I'd say.
Neil's Monsanto I dig.
