I think the right thing is to give around three weeks of voting so people can watch the movies, I mean thats the point of all of this, to share tastes in film. and id like that members vote here, not on the polls. Try not to vote for movies you havent seen, plz. I know I wont be voting for the royal tenenbaums cause i havent seen once upon a time in the west and im not too convinced about TRT. and MAKE COMMENTS of films@!!!! i might quote you on the next round. Ain't it better to do this one by one? So you (or someone else) will throw in the next one once the one before is done. It might get a little indistinct if not I'm sorry Jesus, didn't see your edit. That was you plan the whole time

1. Pulp Fiction vs 64. Braveheart
Is this supposed to be a joke of some kind?
32. Memento vs 33. Before Sunrise
Because I've lived parts of it.
16. Fight Club vs 49. 2 Days In Paris
Hard one but Fight Club it is.
24. Lost in Translation vs 41. Stand By Me
It's perfect.
8. Shawshank Redemption vs 57. Ghost Busters
Don't particularly like any of them as "films." if I can be that pretentious. But the best King adaptation so far gets the vote.
25. In The Name of The Father vs 40. The Best of Youth
Haven't seen either of them so no vote.
9. Empire of the Sun vs 56. Heat
Toss a coin.
17. The Royal Tenenbaums vs 48. Once Upon A Time In The West
Would have been a contest if it was Once Upon A time In America instead.

1. Pulp Fiction vs 64. Braveheart 32. Memento vs 33. Before SunriseMemento deserves better than to be dumped out in the first round, but thems the breaks when you play with the sappy, girly romance BEASTS of the film world 16. Fight Club vs 49. 2 Days In Paris I've got a lot of time for 2 Days In Paris, but it's Fight Club ffs 24. Lost in Transtation vs 41. Stand By Me Toughest one on the list... I'll go for LIT for how special it felt when I first saw it 8. Shawshank Redemption vs 57. Ghost Busters Can't believe I'm gonna put the knife into Ghostbusters, but Shawshank is better, if overrated 25. In The Name of The Father vs 40. The Best of Youth Not seen either, will endeavour to 9. Empire of the Sun vs 56. HeatI haven't seen Empire Of The Sun, but with finite time to watch all these films and there being so little chance of me preferring it to Heat, I've gone for the De Pacino dream-machine 17. The Royal Tenenbaums vs 48. Once Upon A Time In The West Not seen Once Upon A Time, really like Royal Tenenbaums. We shall see

A weird 'film tournament' organized none other than themex who thinks Fargo is mediocre at best. DAN WOULD NEVER ALLOW THIS.

hold on, why should members vote here and not on the polls on the blog? surely that makes more sense?
And also, not voting for a film if you haven't seen the film it's up against, that's just pointless.

If you have two films against each other and you've only seen one of them and still vote, what's the use of a knock out then?

A weird 'film tournament' organized none other than themex who thinks Fargo is mediocre at best. DAN WOULD NEVER ALLOW THIS. Yeah what's the deal? Why are we putting these films against each other anyway? Didn't everyone make their list and every film on that list got a certain amount of points, which in turn would determine the final list? Someone explain, either I've gone dumb or this is a stupid film tournament.

And also, not voting for a film if you haven't seen the film it's up against, that's just pointless. well u can do whatever u want, but this way we can talk about our picks. But u can do whatever u want. And u can vote for whatever film u want, nobody knows that u haven't seen a film so u can do whatever u want, it's just a suggeStion. Why vote for TRT if I'm indifferent about it and I haven't seen OUAITW. I might not see the best of youth b4 voting ends and I'll vote for ITNOTF but that's just cause it's one of my fave films of all time.
