I’m 4 songs in, its utter gash so far. Generic radio friendly indie music with zero edge, everything i feared it would be.
Fuck you beck you cunt, go suck an alien’s cock

the replacements live record is superb.
obviously a fans only thing and i wouldnt really recommend it unless you dig the studio lps but it really captures the band at their ramshackle best for me.

Wu-Tang Clan - 'The Saga Continues'
One spin in and it sounds incredible, but then it would wouldn't because they're the Liam Gallagher of hip-hop and anything they do is an automatic 10/10.

The single sounded great, hope it's good though isn't there no GZA on there? A real shame.
Need to hear peoples thoughts on that Beck album. Saw it described as "like some Australian Idol finalist searching for a song that might work for him and add another year to his career" & I don't think that's far off. It's utter garbage & I can't believe anybody with the slightest bit of taste can defend it.

Kurt & Courtney's record is good fun, nothing to touch either artists best work but you can tell they had fun making it & the songs are mostly strong, I dig it.

Not bad but it seems it's Courtney doing Kurt and I had preferred it the other way or something more risky.

Yeah it's good fun but I don't think there's a great deal of substance to the Kurt and Courtney lp. Certainly has the feeling of a side project to me.

Shed Seven's new single is predictably terrible. Bet Columbia_rocks_man can't wait for the Glasgow show!

The new King Khan record might be my favourite thing of his I’ve heard yet. Well crafted 60s sounding rock n roll meets garage, the same he’s always done but this time around he’s really come up with the tunes to make it worthwhile.

Wu-tang is 6/10 all night! A real mixed bag with too many of their hanger-on buddy’s getting in the way. Has some strong moments though

New Career In Town, David Bowe's Berlin Era boxset is good. There is nothing rare on it, but there are a couple of single mixes I have not previously heard. As for the sound quality, the remasters sound brighter, but there are no real changes to any of the mixes.

that's nonsense Rolli, the new mix of Lodger sounds very very different (and very good) but overall the box set is an absymsal failure with levels all over the place.

It seems it's a vinyl release of a 2014 bandcamp record. In fact, the first song was released on a Garage Swim compilation back in 2013. Listening now and not enjoying it too much, prefer his last release with the Shrines.

I was referencing the original material that Bowie put out. The 2017 Lodger Mix is a reimagining similar to Let it Be Naked, but to your point that does sound vastly different.
