I spent way too much time in my golden years downloading Oasis bootlegs on MIRC. I'd tell my mates I was sick or busy but I'd be glued to my computer downloading. Horrible how many good nights I missed at that shit. I use to actually rip the bootlegs on CDs and for a while I was printing off the fan atwork etc.. what a waste of time and fucking printer ink. When I moved I threw out my folders of bootlegs. It was a sad day.

My biggest hit Owl On A Skateboard was created using a website/software which I stole a username & password from a Canadian special needs school after finding a message board where the teachers were sharing the password with the kids parents. The saved files folder had tracks listed such as "Tim's song" "Alison's track 1" next to Thatcher's Dead & Owl On a Skateboard.

Once in 2006 at a Howie Payne gig I spotted Karl Mahoney and I didn't know how to walk up to him and say hello so I ambushed him in the restroom of the venue.

I once had an entire hour of music chosen by me on MTV2 at about 2am. Unfortunately it included two songs by Stereophonics & U16 girls by Travis.

When Go Let It Out was released I spent a fucking day waiting for MTV to play it so I could record it onto a VHS tape but I realised I quite fancied the girl who was introducing the videos so I started taping the bits she was in and I forgot about GLIO and ended up with this massive compilation of just her bits.
Months later I felt ashamed, wrote Terminator 2 on the label of the VHS and threw it away in a nearby abandoned field.

Unfortunately it included two songs by Stereophonics & U16 girls by Travis. i remember submitting a playlist for one of those. mtv2 was a superb channel. I have it on VHS somewhere. I put zero thought into it, I picked pretty much two songs from every band I liked. I also tried to be cute by picking long tracks, but they just replaced them with shorter ones. Not sure which Stereophonics song I chose but they put Hurry Up & Wait on instead, I was pissed off. The coolest thing I had was Much Against Everyone's Advice by Soulwax. The rest was basically oasis/OCS/Supergrass/The Jam. When my hour finished they played We Hate It When Our Friends Become Successful which I don't think I'd ever heard at that point. A Better song than the entire hour of songs I had just chosen.

Up until my mid to late 20's, I still thought that Oasis made some acceptable music after 1996. LOLZ
