Sure I paid a tout like £30 for a ticket at Heaton Park in 2009
It's insane. I'll take my chances I think. Maybe I can jib it in with some scallies

LANCASTER CRICKET GROUND 2002 £28.50. You bought the ticket 23 years ago you fucking dinosaur. It's like people back then moaning tickets weren't as cheap as they were in the late 70s. Young mahoney would have laughed them out of town!

£28.50 in 2002 wasn't that bad. Expensive sure but nothing like £150 in 2024 - they are taking the piss. Not getting one on principle

My favourite conspiracy theory is that this has been in the works for ages, but they kept it off until the divorce was final so Sara got none of it. Noel’s lawyers, fuck yeah!

Mine is that Noel died in the year 2000 and was replaced by a cyborg named Dwayne.

Young mahoney would have laughed them out of town! The worst thing about this is Lancaster and not Lancashire! Shame on you Karlos. Where were you while we were watching Warren Hegg? I was there, and then, at that gig too. Ticket prices are insane these days, and not worth it, it's not inflation but a daft realisation that people will pay anything. I suppose when the biggest 'rock' band of the last 20 years are Coldplay, then we're at the stage where people will literally pay anything to see Oasis. 25 quid (okay 50) still seems about right for an outdoor gig when you scale in your crap view, the ropey sound, and watered down pint. Stocky has the best idea lol. My dad jibbed in at the old Wembley to watch United in his teens, and now gets embarrassed about it, haha. If you were ever going to jib into a gig at 40, it's for a 150 quid standing ticket for the lads, who would no doubt do the same themselves 😹

Artists have got to get paid somewhere.

Artists have got to get paid somewhere. Very true and i'm cool with Concert prices being comparatively higher than they were when I actually used to spend hundreds a month on physical music. Gigs at even some Academy / Theatre sized venues can be £30-£50, that's quite expensive but fine when it's a small / medium sized band trying to make a living and have a new album to promote. Oasis though have made an insane amount of money in their career. The 90's and early 00's were a lucrative time for bands. They have no new music to promote now and could easily make this a more affordable £100 ticket and they still walk away with tens of millions each. This is a ludcirous cash grab from a band who as far as I remember always gave fans value for money, i'm massively disapointed with them. £150 to stand outside in a terrible venue Heaton park is quite frankly scandalous and leaves a bad taste in the mouth for me. I'll try and get tickets closer to the time and if neccessary tout it outside as I definately want to be there but I can't support what they are doing by going for tickets tomorrow, it's bang out of order.

I wonder if it is lost on Noel that Liam looked down to his last few million after BDI folded and he got divorced, and Noel refused to help him out. You would guess Noel is still mega rich after his divorce and here comes Super Liam to put a few more quid in the bank so he can still look Bono in the eye on the super yacht.

Let's be honest, if you saw them back in the day then you don't need to see them now. This gig is almost exclusively for the people who became fans over the last 15 years with the rise of streaming platforms and all. These are people who have never bought a record, never seen a live gig, never contributed any money towards the band. So yeah, let them pay for the event, the experience and everything.
I enjoyed watching them separately for the last few years. Besides, I don't have great memories of their last tours together. So I'm not really looking forward to spending a grand (ticket + flight + hotel) to catch them again.

Exactly that. I am glad they reformed for that reason, for the newer generation, however...
What happens when DLBIA gets played when the sun is setting? Every one of that generation will get their torches out on their latest smartphone and wave it aboot. Remember the days you'd take a lighter, even if you didn't even smoke. Grrrrrfskffj. Count me in.

The tracklisting for Time Flies is so shoddy. A best of containing She Is Love, Jesus wept. Imagine delving further though after hearing that on their greatest hits then discovering Rockin' Chair instead. Same for Hindu Times with My Big Mouth and so on. Jesus wept further, until he found some kleenex. God help the setlist, if he's free for consultation. 6/10.
