The one thing I am not fussy on is a new album from them.
If it's anything like Noel is writing now we might as well forget it.
Also, what happens if GEM had a bunch of songs stuffed in his little knickers waiting on an Oasis reunion. Can you imagine the shit he'd be writing know after he fell down the stairs and bumped his head.
Garbage.

Apparently after he fell, after slipping on his own banana skin feet, he landed upside down, and was hung in a bad place, for too long. It was death for the whole band after that.

“Oh shoot, I wish I knew as I just used my best songs for the new Ride album!
Dwayne:
“Oh, that is a shame!”

Dead to the World and Easy Now off the latest album might have been on an Oasis LP. Easily. Two of the best tunes he's done in years. Somebody on YouTube did a reimagining of In the Heat of the Moment, which is shit, but with Liam AI vocals and real guitars rerecorded from scratch in a Dig Out Your Soul style. It sounds absolutely massive. I love it. I want the new album to sound like that. Big fan of fantasy Oasis.

“Make me a song that sounds like the sex pistols & the Beatles, make it mega and colossal” Too straight forward; needs to be something vaguely ludicrous like "t-rex on rohypnol" "mid 80s john lennon on brown sauce"

Everybody agrees their records are spotty but if they pick 2 or 3 favourites that they really think are Oasis-level brilliant, the choices are always different.
Not sure what that means though

Their LPs are indeed spotty but if you pair them chronologically and combine the best songs into one album with some Oasis logic (meaning you only have 3 songs per album sung by Noel), you actually get a pretty legit Oasis record for each pair of albums. Result is much more than the sum of its parts. Here's an example Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds + Different Gear, Still Speeding (2011) 1. Four Letter Word 2. Wind Up Dream 3. If I Had a Gun 4. The Beat Goes On 5. The Roller 6. The Death of You and Me 7. Bring the Light 8. Standing on the Edge of the Noise 9. What a Life 10. Three Ring Circus 11. Wigwam 12. (hidden track: Shoot a Hole into the Sun) The singles: FOUR LETTER WORD (1st single) 1. Four Letter Word 2. The Good Rebel 3. In the Bubble with a Bullet 4. Across the Universe (cover) IF I HAD A GUN (2nd single) 1. If I Had a Gun 2. The Millionaire 3. Stop the Clocks 4. If I Had a Gun (demo) THE BEAT GOES ON (3rd single) 1. The Beat Goes On 2. Soldier Boys and Jesus Freaks 3. The Morning Sun 4. Sons of the Stage (cover) THE DEATH OF YOU AND ME (4th single) 1. The Death of You and Me 2. Dream On 3. I'd Pick You Every Time 4. The Death of You and Me (demo)

Combining tracks from several albums into one album just signals averageness to me. Crap. Mahoney's artwork stands up though, as does Who Built The Moon. The rest is bleak. Beady Eye are Oasis b-sides post 2000, let's be honest.

Seems reasonable, not like they need to promote the gigs by doing the media rounds.
