I actually don't think the tour is purely money motivated. Noel finally got rid of the virus, aka his wife, and realised he missed the craic of it all and probs felt quite lonely. He could have sold his big house and bought a caravan instead to fill the void, but called up his brother as a remedy. They should refund the fans the difference, however, if they are true to their word.

I wonder what the setlist will be like. It's interesting because the dynamics in the band might shift a little. Liam's been sounding fantastically live as of late, while Noel hasn't.
Surely they're going to open with Rock'n'Roll Star. Surely.
Supersonic, Live Forever, Cigarettes & Alcohol, Wonderwall, Don't Look Back in Anger and Champagne Supernova. There's no way they are not playing these, else the people will ask for their money back.
Not sure they're going to do anything post-Knebworth. Maybe the big stadium singalong ones, like Lyla or Little by Little.
My prediction:
00. Fucking in the Bushes 01. Rock'n'Roll Star 02. Columbia 03. Lyla 04. Morning Glory 05. Supersonic 06. Roll With It 07. Little by Little 08. Cigarettes & Alcohol 09. The Masterplan 10. Wonderwall 11. odd never played live tune 12. Acquiesce 13. Whatever 14. Stand by Me 15. Half the World Away 16. Slide Away -encore- 17. Don't Look Back in Anger 18. Live Forever 19. Champagne Supernova

They should close with RnRS instead for me.
1. FITB 2. Acquiesce 3. Hello - - -- 20. Rock n Roll Star
Swamp Song then Acquiesce would be even better, like the old days, but more realistic with FITB. Plus, I doubt that opening combination trio has been before. Gotta make it happen.

Assuming they'll play no more than 20 songs, if they waste one slot for Hello then you should be entitled to get your money back.
I agree Acquiesce should be in the setlist.
I'm expecting one or two unpredictable songs that they never played live as a band. Perhaps a couple of tunes off a new album. It would be foolish not to use this tour to promote a new LP.
I'm calling it now: the new album will be self-titled.

Okay, fine. This is a combo of realism and wish casting that I finally get to see them do something off be here now
1. Hello 2. Columbia 3. Supersonic 4. Go let it out 5. Roll with it 6. D’you know what i mean? 7. Little by little 8. Slide away 9. Songbird 10. Morning glory 11. Stand by me 12. The turning (Noel solo) 13. Talk tonight 14. Half the world away (Liam back) 15. Cast no shadow 16. Let there be love 17.. Wonderwall 18. Whatever 19. Live forever —- 20. Acquiesce 21. Champagne supernova 22. Don’t look back in anger 23. Rock’n roll star
Realistically, cigarettes and alcohol and (sighs) the importance of being idle will probably be in there somewhere too.

Admittedly they wouldn't make it sound as good live now because of the pedals, and Noel won't be bothering with those. But obviously as a stomper, and for hello, it's good to be back, and Acquiesce is a must for the sentiment too.

I do rate Hello, but I just think there are tracks this audience expects to hear before Hello, like Stop Crying Your Heart Out. They call it fan-service these days, don't they. Target audience's not us anymore Sul. If I had my way, they'd open with Better Let You Know. Actually, if I really had my way, the entire gig would be just them playing Better Let You Know. For two hours. Like the Grateful Dead.

Remember those rumours about Alan leaking Heathen Chemistry being the reason for his sacking, haha. He should get a medal if true, for saving many people from spending a tenner on that piece of shit. Also is this a recent photo of Zak? Do not want, lol. uk.news.yahoo.com/oasis-calls-ringo-starrs-son-224555266.html

Zak was wearing that horrible yellow top and dodgy barnet when I saw him with The Who last year. In fact the pic could be from that gig.
My mate who knows fuck all about music thought he was a woman until I informed him who it was.
