GRUFF has a new record english or welsh? It's him and some crazy Brazlian guy, I think most of it is meant to be in Portuguese I'm not expecting much from the things I've read.

A lot of decent stuff for me from 2010:
Local Natives - Gorilla Manor The Apples in Stereo - Travellers in Space & Time Avi Buffalo - s/t The Radio Dept. - Clinging to a Scheme The National - High Violet Holly Golightly & the Brokeoffs - Medicine County Band of Horses - Infinite Arms The New Pornographers - Together The Divine Comedy - Bang Goes The Knighthood Frightened Rabbit - The Winter of Mixed Drinks Lightspeed Champion - Life is Sweet! Nice to Meet You Rogue Wave - Permalight Alcoholic Faith Mission - Let This Be the Last Night We Care Charlotte Gainsbourg - IRM Broken Social Scene - Forgiveness Rock Record Beach House - Teen Dream I'd say Brothers by The Black Keys was a bit disappointing, considering Attack & Release is the coolest thing since sliced bread. It's not on par with their back catalogue TBH.

A I'd say Brothers by The Black Keys was a bit disappointing, considering Attack & Release is the coolest thing since sliced bread. It's not on par with their back catalogue TBH. Disagree with that, Attack & Release was one of the least interesting records they've done where as the new one is right up there with their best work.

That Ariel Pink record totally threw me off on first listen, on second listen I was intrigued, on my third now & it sounds wonderful. At times I wish they(he?) would let the songs breathe a little more instead of shifting gear so quickly but then again I guess that is the whole point. One of the most fascinating records I've heard in a long fucking time & truth be told I thought I was going to absolutely hate it.
& for a Brucie bonus the chorus of Little Wig sounds like Gruff Rhys.

All of my favorites have been mentioned already, but thought I'd mention Josh Ritter's new album So Runs the World Away. Don't know if there are any fans here, but he's an american singer-songwriter.
Really looking forward to the new Belle and Sebastian and the Charlatans.
